MEN'S MINISTRY

As the Men of Banwell, we commit to provide opportunities to gather together, to develop our faith and our relationships, and to become representatives of Christ's love and hope in our community and throughout the world.

In support of the Men's Ministry Mission Statement, the men of our church have made ongoing activities that we initiate or support at church and in the Windsor/Essex communities.

MARY & MARTHA WOMEN'S MINISTRY

“To be committed to glorifying God and showing the love of Christ by serving and encouraging one another”

The M&M women have usually met on a regular basis. The ministry under leadership of Sandy and a great core of volunteers continue to provide meals for anyone at BCC who may be ill, grieving, new parents and to support long term caregivers.
M&M aims to offer 2 open events per year where the women can invite friends, coworkers and neighbours to be blessed by a speaker and soloist, refreshments.
With each event the ladies are asked to support a chosen women’s ministry  either with needed personal care and clothing articles or with monetary donation.
A few supported organizations include Our Lady of Guadalupe, Street Health downtown, and House of Sophrosyne.

We challenge ourselves to shift focus and adapt to recent changes and have had video and discussion nights. Our last project was to fill donated purses with various requested items to give to the Welcome Centre Shelter for women and families. Each purse contained a booklet for Mother’s from Our Daily Bread.
